Two kinds of relationship: directional prerequisites (Algebra before Calculus before Mechanics) and lateral cross-domain links (Information Theory ↔ Genetics). Together they form a web that mirrors how knowledge actually connects.
Hubs are the highways
A handful of topics — Calculus, Energy, Logic, Statistics, Systems Thinking — connect to a disproportionate share of the rest. Master a hub and you unlock whole regions of the map at once. The Atlas knows which ones they are.

An optional overlay of cross-domain, exploratory ideas — archaeoacoustics, the observer problem, plasma cosmology, structured water and more — laid directly on the academic base. Every frontier node and bridge carries a 5-tier evidence rating, its strongest defensible claim, real primary-source citations, explicit counter-evidence, and uncertainty flags. The point is to sit honestly with ideas that sound ridiculous and separate the defensible nugget from the leap — not to believe or dismiss them.
The adaptive tutor Next
An AI tutor that reads each topic from the graph and runs an adaptive quiz — closer to a computerized adaptive test than a fixed quiz. It eases off what you've mastered, gives targeted explanations where you struggle, and uses the prerequisite edges to suggest a step back when a gap is really upstream.
